Jellyfish Costume

Jellyfish Costume

It all starts with an umbrella. If you can find a dome shaped clear plastic umbrella, it’s perfect for this project. Use various types of gift wrapping ribbon, a couple of LED lights and you’re ready to make a jellyfish. The ribbon will be used to create the tentacles of the jellyfish and you can use various types, light blue colored is best and quite wide so that it will show well. You can use hot glue to attach these all around the umbrella.

The special part of this costume is the lighting. You can use velcro to attach the battery packs of the LED strings inside the umbrella. To top it all off, add some eyes on the umbrella, have your child wear some dark clothing and you’re ready for trick-or-treating.

The effect with the LED lights is stunning on this costume, and it’s sure to make heads turn!
