Cardboard box spiders

To make these adorable spiders, start with a cardboard box, square shaped is best but you can be creative with the shapes. Paint the box black with acrylic paint and leave it to dry. Your little helper can then draw mouths on a piece of paper.

Once the boxes are dry, assemble your embellishments and make your spiders. Cut out and glue the mouths, stick on googly eyes, glue on details with red craft paper, add black pipe cleaners for the legs. Once the spiders are ready, you can use yarn or string to display them on the wall or hang them from the ceiling. You could even fill them with candy and use them as gift boxes.

The variations and the fun on this project are endless, your little ones will surely enjoy it.
