Bat Banner

Trick or Treat Me

Bat Banner

This idea is really versatile and it can be used with many designs, not just bats. Using pages from an old book, cut as many rectangles as you will need for your bunting. Cut a triangle off the bottom of the book pages to create the banner shape. Draw or print out a bat template and cut as many of these as you need from black paper and attach them to your banner pieces with glue. Add a button to the center of each bat.

For putting your banner together simply cut a length of string and attach the banner pieces to it by folding the top edge of the pieces over the string and stapling them together. Space the banner pieces evenly along the string to create a symmetrical design.

That’s it! This takes about 30 minutes to make from start to finish and the result looks great. It will add a touch of handmade elegance to your home this Halloween.
