Gumball Machine Costume

You will need a white t-shirt, red leggings (or skirt), a red beret, felt in various colors and lots of pompoms. Have your child try on the t-shirt so that you can estimate the placement of the pompoms and trace a large round object to make a circle. Use this as a guide to hot glue pompoms on the t-shirt, but you don’t need to fill the whole circle. Leave a line at the bottom where the bottom part of the costume will meet the gumballs. For the bottom part of the “machine” use a large piece of red felt and glue details on with gray felt and black and white felt, just like in the picture.

Top the costume off with the red beret and your gumball machine is ready.

No one will believe you made this Halloween costume yourself or that it was so easy!
